HUNDREDS turned out for a
fun-packed Carrick Lowland
Gathering on Sunday, June 2.
The event was its 38th
annual running held at
Victory Park in Girvan.
Locals were treated to
favourable weather just as
the festivities got underway.
Athletics, weight and
dancing competitions took
place as well as live
entertainment from pipe
bands. Lots of stalls were set
up to raise money for charity
before the day being capped
off with the crowning of the
Civic King and Civic Queen
