SOUTH AYRSHIRE Sport and Leisure last week took part in a nationwide initiative to get people of all ages out walking and talking.
The Big Fit Walk, launched by Paths for All Scotland, took place on Friday May 24 at 11am in Ayr for the first half-an-hour walk of many.
Starting at St Germian en Laye Gardens outside of County Buildings in the town, staff members from the sport and leisure sector of the council were out in force to encourage others to get involved.
