THE community council covering Prestwick South are looking for donations for the Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline.
Furthermore, a group of girls from Ukraine will be visiting Ayrshire at the end of June thanks to the work of the charity.
Each year the Ayrshire Link of Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline raises funds to support the kids of Ukraine and Belarus, whose lives will be forever affected by the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986.
The charity helps children by providing holidays, medical treatment and giving ongoing support.
The organisation are asking for help by asking for donations of clothing and items that will help the girls get the most out of their visit.
Items can be handed in to County Buildings in Ayr and the deadline is Friday June 21.
