THE FAMILY and friends of a Troon hairdresser who died this week have urged Rangers fans to pay a special tribute to his mum.
Karen Adair, 41, sadly passed away on Tuesday leading to an outpour of tributes.
The popular hairdresser worked in The Mane Man who confirmed the tragic news earlier this week.
Now her family are calling on Rangers fans to honour her with a minute’s applause on the 41st minute during the final league match of the season against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Karen’s son Lewis shared a post asking for fellow supporters to get behind the plans.
A post on his Twitter read: “Does anyone know how I could contact any rangers fan pages or anything as I’d like to do a clap on the 41st minute on the last game of the season for my mum and if anyone could bring either a blue white or red helium balloon to realise before kick-off would be greatly appreciated.”
Since posting, fan pages across social media have liked and shared urging supporters to participate.
Rangers player Glenn Middleton also shared a tribute to Karen.
The midfielder who has made a host of first team appearances this season, shared a praying hands emoji after a fellow fan messaged her a picture of the time Karen met the young star.
