A NEW "bake-off" style gardening show set to be aired on a major TV channel later this year is looking for budding green-fingered gardeners to apply.
The show is seeking passionate horcicultralists from South Ayrshire to showcase their talents by building unique living scupltures.
Two of Britain's leading garden experts (yet to be confirmed) will judge each design.
TV cheifs are looking for those who have "creative flair and an eye for design, but most importantly the enthusiasm and ambition to make spectacular living art forms."
A spokesperson from TV organisers ShiverTV said: "“We are looking for anyone from florists to landscape gardeners, artists to architects, builders to botanists, designers to DIY enthusiasts.
"Grandparents to their grandchildren, no matter what their background, we would be delighted to hear from anyone who is good with their hands and has a passion for gardening to take part in this unique challenge and opportunity”.
Couples or pairs looking to apply must be over the age of 18 and be available in summer 2019. To register your interest e-mail livingsculptures@shiver.tv
