REVELLERS can go back in time to the era of Prohibition to help support a charity.
Ayrshire Cancer Support are staging a Prohibition Ball at Ayr Racecourse on Friday, September 6.
The event harks back to the period from 1920 until 1933 when the production and sale of alcohol was not allowed in the USA although people took advantage of that.
It will celebrate one of the most glamorous and intriguing events in history.
Look out for flappers, gangsters, confidence tricksters and also casino tables, music, entertainment and glamorous goings-on.
Drinks will be served upon arrival and guests will be treated to a three course meal.
The cost is £75 (or £700 for a table of 10) Call 01563 538008 to reserve your tickets or secure a table now.
