Hillbillies MCC will hold their annual Easter Egg charity run next month on the club’s 20th anniversary year.

All bikes and trikes are welcome to celebrate 20 years of the Ayrshire-based Hillbillies MCC, and raise crucial funds for Crosshouse Hospital’s children’s ward on April 20.

Attendees are to meet at 12 noon at Mauchline Primary School for a burger and a chat before heading off on the run at 1pm to Crosshouse Hospital.

All bikes and trikes are welcome to join at £5 donation per machine with all proceeds going to charity.

A spokesman said: “2019 is an important year for our club as it is our 20th Anniversary year since our formation in 1999.

"Later in the day we would suggest anyone available then comes along to the RockFest at Harleys in Ayr.”

Last year the club, based in Mauchline, raised a tremendous £2,650 for the children’s ward at University Hospital Crosshouse.

Sister Fiona Scott said: “It brightens up the children in hospital when they visit delivering goodies.”
