PUPILS from a South Ayrshire school were handed a cash boost this week as a thank you for their festive concert.
Prestwick Rotary Club President Edith Sterrick presented a cheque for £200 to Prestwick Academy musicians for a wonderful festive concert held in St Nicholas Church.
Ms Sterrick told pupils it was “very satisfying” to know that Prestwick is home to such a great wealth of musical talent.
She also told teachers and pupils that the Rotary Club was hugely appreciative to the school for all their efforts.
