DALMILLING Primary School celebrated World Book Day last week as pupils and staff got together in their colourful outfits.
The children dressed as their favourite fictional characters from books they have read. P1 pupils delivered an assembly to parents who came along, using actions to tell their favourite stories.
The school was also visited by Jane Clarke from Morrison’s who donated 15 books to the school after selecting Dalmilling to receive them as part of World Book Day.
One of the teachers organising the day said: “It was a great day put on by the pupils who loved getting involved and dressing as characters from their favourite books.”
