A MAN has been charged after a video showed two dogs locked together following an incident in Stevenston on Sunday.

Video footage captured the incident where a dog allegedly latched on to a Springer Spaniel in the Hayocks area of the town, leaving it with horrific injuries.

16-year-old student Elliott Thomas witnessed the episode and has since launched a fundraiser to help the owner of the injured dog.
