Fans can travel to Auchinleck, Barr and Pinwherry to catch Scottish musician Mairi Campbell perform her new one-women theatre production ‘Auld Lang Syne’.
Combining tales from her childhood, married life and her adventures with the famous song, Mairi tells the story of the tune itself.
These memories include forgetting the words when singing for President Clinton and featuring in the New Year’s Eve scene of the 2008 blockbuster film Sex and the City.
The show tours the Ayrshire villages starting on January 24 at 7.30pm in Auchinleck’s Boswell Centre, followed by January 25 in the Barr Village Community Centre at 7.30pm.
The final performance is on January 26 at the Pinwherry Community Centre, also at 7.30pm. Tickets for each night are priced at between £6-10.
