A Netherthird resident raised over £350 for charity with his Christmas lights display.
Alex Weir decorates his house every Christmas and has collected donations for charity over the past few years.
This year's contributions saw £380 donated to Cumnock Age Concern.
Alex told the Chronicle: "I think everyone enjoyed it. Some people have been telling me it was the best display the had seen.
"I want to thank everyone who has donated money and a special thanks to John and Margaret Marshall, May and Willie Woods and Glaisnock Valley Bowling Club for all their help and support."
Photographer Ken McKissock went along to the ceremonial switch off.
