Staff and parents at Ayrshire Maternity Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse welcomed their first babies of 2019 last week.
The first arrival of the New Year was baby girl Fallyn who checked in at 1.38am am weighing 8lb 1oz for Kimberly Reid and Ryan Watson from Dundonald. Fallyn is the second in the family after older brother Kieran who is 7.
Shortly afterwards, another baby girl was born at 2.21am. Rosie Reid came in weighing 9lb 2oz and parents Graeme Reid and Melissa Farrell from Ardrossan were delighted. Rosie will be the younger sister for Marnie who is 12, Calvin aged 10 and Murren and Zak aged 5.
