PRESTWICK Coastal Rowing Club hosted their take on the Santa Dash at the weekend with their own 'Santa Splash' event.
Members braved the turbulent weather as they got together for a festive row. The club get out on the water all year round, but with being a small club and only three years old, they have big ambition - aiming to be “the number one social sport experience for Prestwick”.
The club are now appealing to people across Prestwick and surrounding areas to come and give it a go. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or not as committee member Hugh Torrance explains. He said: “Whether you are interested in training up and racing against other crews, or just fancy a social row from Prestwick to Seafield or Troon for a coffee on a Sunday morning, Prestwick Coastal Rowing Club has opportunities for you”.
