A Prestwick aviation firm is jetting off to Amsterdam to embark on a new business venture.

Cutting-edge aerospace consultancy Inter-Tec has joined forces with aircraft interior s manufacturer Flitetec for a strategic partnership.

The two firms will be attending MRO Europe in the Netherlands together for the aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul sector from October 16-18.

Both firms have launched a ‘design and manufacture’ partnership that each provides complementary skills.

Exhibiting together at the show, Inter-Tec, which is based at the Prestwick International Aerospace Park, specialise in design, analysis, certification and training.

Providing aviation solutions since 1997, managing director Fred Gorrie has encouraged the partnership, br inging about the best options for their customers and hopes to now extend further afield.

Partners Flitetec have more than 30 years expertise and experience in aircraft and interior plastics and have sold more than 4 million products worldwide.

Trevor Lea, managing director of Flitetec, explained that joining with Inter-Tec will benefit both parties and also their target market.
