GROUPS are celebrating after receiving funding from the recent Ayr South and Coylton decision day.
Some 27 community groups and organisations were at the event on Saturday, February 17, which saw around 360 locals get involved with supporting their favourite projects.
Among the successful projects was a new show for the Coylton Gala by young people through the Ayr Gaiety Partnership, help for people recovering from addiction to restore a walled garden at Auchincruive, and the creation of a new covered team room at Alloway Bowling Club.
Councillor Douglas Campbell, Leader of South Ayrshire Council, said: “Everyone who took part will have benefited from securing new funds, making new contacts, possibly finding inspiration for new ideas.
"I’d like to thank the teams behind the scenes for running such a successful event and wish all the groups who took part the best of luck as their projects take shape.”
