PLANNING applications to renovate three listed buildings in Ayr have been granted.
Work will be carried out to the County Buildings, Carlton Turrets, at Wellington School and at Homebriar House - sheltered accommodation on Barns Park.
Plans were permitted last week by South Ayrshire Council and will see the inside of the County Buildings renovated as well as a alterations to form a boundary wall on the Carlton Turrets at Wellington School.
The exact location for this work will be between 1 and 3 Craigweil Road in Ayr.
An orangery, a type of conservatory, will be developed at Homebriar House at 4 Barns Park in Ayr and will be used as a garden room for residents.
Developers say the design will compliment the existing Victorian building and the development will be respectful of its character.
Although plans for each of these applications has been approved it has not been confirmed when construction will begin.
