YOUNGSTERS from Doonfoot and Newton Primary Schools enjoyed taking part in the FreshAyr event when it ran.
The event was so popular that organisers are now looking to expand the project and run a new event which is planned for Thursday, March 2 until Saturday, March 4.
A meeting to discuss the Creative Festival of Words Sounds Movement was held at the Newmarket on Monday, January 9.
The project will be held at Ayr Town Hall with an Urban Art Fringe.
'FreshAyr' is a creative regeneration project to breathe new life into making Ayr a creative marketplace to serve Ayrshire, Scotland and International appetites for sustainable, renewable and ethical creative enterprises.
Posting on their Facebook page the team said: "Out with old...in with the new...to get the 2017 started 'freshAyr' is organising a Creative Festival of Words Sounds Movement in Ayr Town Hall 2nd - 4th March 2017, with a Fringe URBAN ART project."
