THE regeneration project freshAyr has been shortlisted in the Future Town Designs Competition 2016.
This enterprise aims to breathe new life into Ayr's town centre by creating something from nothing to prove the arts can be a catalyst for regeneration and greater social integration.

"It's time we think outside the box of ways to help energise our town centre."
The former Watt brothers building will be transformed into a pop up contemporary art gallery, performance and workshop space with fringe programme of cultural events hosted by local businesses from the November 18- 27 this year.
Online voting will take place until the end of Scotland's towns week November 7-13 and entries will be displayed at the Scotland's town conference on November 9 where delegates will also be able to vote.
