MADISONS night club will open until 3.30am when the Troon Open comes to town next month.
The club will extend its hours on Friday, July 15 and Saturday July 16 to coincide with the tournament held at Royal Troon from July 10 - 17.
Catrina Andrew, Licensing Standards Officer, said: "I am satisfied the application meets the criteria as the Board has already agreed the Golf Open to allow premises to operate beyond 2.30am and if this would be in keeping with with the licensing objectives 'Preventing Public Nuisance' and 'Securing Public Safety'.
Madisons will also operate until 3.30am on Sunday, September 3 during the Scottish International Airshow.
Catrina continued: "I am aware that this was a very successful local event last year and that this year's plans are even more extravagant and the applicant intends to take advantage of the anticipated additional crowds to the area.
"As this is set to become an annual event and one which will bring many visitors to Ayr.
"I am satisfied it is an event of Local or National significance and that it meets the criteria. I have no objections to grant the extended hours as applied for."
The licence was granted by the panel on Wednesday, June 15.
