DESPITE the weather Coylton Community Gala had a fantastic turnout at the weekend with everyone attending having a great day.
After weeks of glorious sunshine a change in the weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit as the day kicked off at 10.30am with the procession from Claude Hamilton Hall and through Coylton led by the Troon Blackrock Pipe Band.
Many turned out sporting a superhero costume in aid of this year’s superhero theme. The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man even turned up to join in this year’s parade.
Gala Queen Olivia Cosgrove and her attendants Olivia Flynn and Georgia Howe came dressed for the occasion and looked spectacular in their white Gala dresses.
The dog show, a selection of stalls, rides and competitions kept everyone entertained on the day.
Organisers of the Gala would like to thanks everyone who supported the event including the stall holders. The committee worked hard to make the day a success and they hope everyone attended feels it was.
