THE 'Twilight' saga has returned to cinema screens - but what supernatural happenings will accompany this 'New Moon'?

After the first instalment bit off a mighty $350million at the box office, bloodsucking vampire beau Edward Cullen is back for more forbidden passion in what looks set to be one of the biggest films of the year.

Better still, despite lacking a pulse at times, there's enough in 'New Moon' for film fans of all ages to sink their teeth into.

In this second instalment, the romance between mortal and vampire sours to a new level as Bella (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she years to become part of - only to find herself in greater peril that ever before.

Following Bella's ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward (Robert Pattinson) and his family flee town in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world.

As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry on her adventures.
