PENALTY CLAIM DENIES AYR A POINT

ANGRY Ayr United boss Brian Reid says his team were denied a stonewall penalty as they crashed to a second successive defeat in the Barr's Irn-Bru First Division on Saturday.

But the worried manager insists his troops have to start being more clinical in front of goal and getting points on the board in their battle to beat the drop as they gear up to face Raith Rovers at Somerset Park on Saturday.
