FORM team Craigmark Burntonians have made a triple signing swoop ahead of Saturday's home Scottish Junior Cup Second Round clash with local rivals Cumnock.
They have landed midfielder Ally Boyle from Whitletts Victoria and goalie Robbie Wilson from Muirkirk. Wideman Paul McCambley has also returned to the club after leaving in the summer.
Manager Ian Patterson is delighted with the acquisitions and said: "Ally is one of the best young players in the league and I have known him since he played at boys club level. He was excellent against us for Vics on Saturday. Paul had been at Craigmark for two or three years and left last year. He had been injured and linked with a move to Troon but didn't go. He gives another wide option, knows the club and has a bit of experience from the last time he played. Robbie will provide competition for Mark McClymont."
All three players are eligible for the cup clash.
Patterson is counting down the days to the game and said: "We look forward to the cup tie. It's a no lose for us, will be a big occasion for the players and takes pressure away from the league. Cumnnock are favourites. They will be a typical; Peter Leonard side and will be well organised.
"Cumnock are expected to win the tie and it's a bonus game for us and we will give it our best shot. It will be good experience for the team.
"I know Peter really well and he has done really well at Girvan and previously Maybole."
