Roddy Paterson, aged 16, and 18-year-olds Ross Robertson and John Tiffoney have signed professional contracts at Somerset Park.

Brain Reid has been keeping an eye on the young players and took in a pre-season tournament in East Kilbride that featured his stars of the future.

Now having seen Roddy, Ross and John in action, both in competitive matches and training with the first team, the decision was made to take them on board.
