AMBITIOUS Ayr United boss Brian Reid has high hopes that he can add a mystery experienced SPL striker to his squad in time for Saturday's long trip north to face Barr's Irn-Bru First Division leaders Ross County.

And the manager is also targeting a midfielder/striker from another top flight club.

Meanwhile on-from targetman Mark Roberts, who netted the leveller at home to Aridrie United, said his side's luck in front of goal is bound to turn.
