Ayr United's unbeaten home run leaves them top UK team with Liverpool

TABLE-topping Ayr United are best of British.

And the statistics will back-it up as they go all out for the Barr's Irn-Bru Division Two title following a 1-0 victory at East Fife and the 1-0 weekend win at Raith Rovers which leaves them three points clear at the top.

Brian Reid's men and Rafa Benitez' Liverpool are the only teams in Britain to have an unbeaten home league record.
