TOP-scoring Ayr United striker Lawrence Shankland and manager Ian McCall have been rewarded for a glittering season which saw the club land the Ladbrokes League One title.
And while the target man has attracted interest from Aberdeen and a host of other clubs, McCall hopes to persuade him to lead the line in the Championship next season.
Shankland, released by Aberdeen last summer, smashed 29 goals in 33 games as Ayr sensationally won the title on the final day.
He has run away with the Ladrokes Player of the Season award with McCall winning the top boss prize.
