AYR United travel to Starks Park on Saturday in a great position where avoiding defeat will keep them top of the Second Division.
Manager Brian Reid, with experienced on-loan defender, the 6" 7' Kevin James on board, is confident that the Honest Men can do well.
He said: 'We are looking forward to training this week and going up there next weekend and getting a good result.
'There are no injuries or suspensions, only Willie Easton was missing today, so it"s set up nicely although there are still ten games to go.
'There will still be a lot of twists and turns but we are in a good position and it is up to ourselves to keep us up there.'
Brian was speaking after a comprehensive 5-0 victory over struggling Stranraer, although he was quick to point out that there are no easy games this season.
