Tennis club bridge generation gap

MEMBERS of Ayr Lawn Tennis Club played their own version of the generation game.

The club"s first fun doubles event of 2009 involved 10 adult and child pairings who took part in the event, with Charlie and Steven Boom taking the honours ahead of runners-up Ross and Annie Hay.

Ayr Lawn Tenis Club"s next event will be an open afternoon on Sunday March 15 from 2pm, followed by an adults" Rusty Rackets Tournament from 3pm till 5pm.

The club is at 4 Southpark Road, Ayr.
