GIRVAN 2
KELLO ROVERS 0
NEW manager Ian Patterson helped Girvan chalk up their first league win of the season as they overcame fellow strugglers Kello at Hamilton Park.
The hosts began well and in 11 minutes, from a Rory Tait cross, Darren Mitchell was inches away from making contact with a header.

One minute later a Mitchell shot hit the post as Girvan kept up the pressure. Five minutes later, Harvey burst down the left and got his shot away but across face of goal but it glanced wide
Tait cuts in from the right in 29 minutes and the goalie parried his shot clear.
Six minutes later Kello had a chance with a free-kick from the edge of the box but the strike was inches over the bar.
In 47 minutes, Tait drove into the box, tripped and the referee pointed to the spot. Harvey converted the penalty.
Eight minutes later the Kello striker was through on goal and the striker chips the oncoming keeper Darren Johnson but was wide of goal
On the hour, Harvey found Daniel Wilson inside the box with a neat pass and te latter netted from 10 yards.
In 73 minutes home player James Lamont tried his luck from 22 yards but shot inches over the bar.
