PROMOTED Troon overcame a first half deficit to take a point at home to Pollok on Saturday.

The visitors had much of the first half play and went ahead in just five minutes when former Kilbirnie Ladeside striker Adam Forde netted.

Troon rolled up their sleeves and came back into the game after the break.

They levelled in 54 minutes thanks to a great finish from Robert Love.

Trialist Christian Nade showed amazing composure to fire them ahead in 48 minutes, shaking two defenders and leaving Andy Leishman stranded.

They were reduced to 10 men in 76 minutes when Dylan Stevenson was shown a second yellow card, Seasiders down to 10 men. Then four minutes from time Sean McIlroy levelled as the game ended deadlocked.
