TALENTED young players from across Ayrshire converged on Troon Municipal Golf Course for a popular annual event.

The Troon Junior Open was hosted by South Ayrshire Council at the Harling Drive venue and has been running since 1997 when then reigning Open champion Tom Lehman donated a trophy to be contested on an annual basis.

The top award was won this year by Ross McDonald of Kilmarnock Barassie.
