THE Ayrshire Under-18 team suffered a second successive narrow defeat away from home on Sunday.
They faced Stirlingshire at Strathkendrick GC, in their latest fixture in the West Of Scotland Inter County Under-18 League for the Wishart Trophy.
Defeats in the opening three under-16 ties made the task of securing a result difficult for the Ayrshire team, but in the end they were defeated by the narrowest of margins, going down by 4.5-3.5 in the match.
