THE 23rd Dundonald Highland Games went very well despite two brief but heavy downpours.
On Saturday, August 4, beneath Royal Dundonald Castle the 23rd Dundonald Highland Games took place after a parade through the village lead by Hawkbury Nepean Valley Pipe Band, from Sydney, Australia.
Proceedings were opened by the 2012 Chieftain Adaline Finlayson, with Bethany Stephens as Games Queen, attended by Hannah Morgan and Rosie MacKenzie (all of Dundonald Primary School).
