THOUSANDS of pounds were raised on Saturday for Troon RNLI at their annual open day.

The gates to the open day on Saturday, July 21, were opened by the Gala Queen Shelley-Ann McLellan, of Barassie Primary, and Gala Princess Rachel Meek, of Muirhead Primary.
