A TEENAGER on a church outing to the seaside was propositioned by a pervert in a public toilet.

The 16-year-old was in a cubicle in the gents at Troon"s South Beach when Paul Keatings, 39, slipped a note written on toilet tissue under the dividing wall.

Depute fiscal Victoria Hart told the court yesterday that twisted Keatings, of Troon's Dundonald Road, had written a note with sexual meaning to the teen.

The shocked youngsters left the toilets and told his 34-year-old brother and 47-year-old friend what had happened and showed them the note.

Miss Hart said that all three were part of a Baptist Church outing to Troon on June 6, she said that the 47-year-old went into the toilets and noticed that the middle cubicle was still occupied.

He went in the first cubicle and a shorttime later an identical note was slipped under the dividing wall.

Miss Hart said: 'Words were then exhanged between the witness and the accused and the witness pushed open the cubicle door and confronted the accused.'

The three baptists then marched Keatings to Troon Police Office.
