THE AYRSHIRE Railway Preservation Group will be hosting their first Steam Day of the year.
Taking places on Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28 at the Scottish Industrial Railway Centre, there will be a locomotive in steam, and brake van rides will be in operation.
Last year, over 3000 visitors who came to the centre enjoyed the sights and sounds of a bygone era.
The Scottish Industrial Railway Centre will be open from 11am to 4.30pm and everyone is welcome to come and view the steam and vintage diesel locomotives in the care of the Group.
The large museum, the shop and the Signal Box Café will be open, and the centre’s modest admission charge covers all attractions.
