A PRESTWICK man, who ran the London Marathon, raised over £11,000 for his chosen charity.
Grahame Hopper completed the 26-mile challenge on Sunday in three hours and four minutes, joining a 44-strong team of runners for SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity) and The Brain Tumour Charity.
Dr Clea Harmer, Chief Executive of SANDS, said: “I’d like to say a big thank you and congratulations to each and every one of our fantastic London Marathon runners.
“We simply wouldn’t be able to continue with our work to support bereaved parents and their families, without the dedication and support from people like Grahame.”
