A SEASONAL egg-stravanza is on the cards in just over two weeks’ time and Troon is the place to be once again.

The fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Fullarton Woods on Sunday, April 1.

And the countdown is well and truly on.

Once again the Troon Times are supporting the event, which is run by the people behind the Secret Santa campaign.

We are printing vouchers to allow a family of four admission to the event.
Those participating should hand it over on the day and they will search for coloured balls, which are being hidden in the woods and can be exchanged for an Easter egg.

Organisers are calling on people to turn out in good numbers to support the Hunt.

Last week, the Easter Hunt organisers made an appeal for two pop-up Gazebos to help publicise the Easter Egg Hunt across the community.
And Joy Melville from Dundonald responded by donating one last week.
Organisers are indebted to her.

The people of Troon have given the venture great support again this year but they are being encouraged to keep the donations coming to help make it a great Easter.

Meanwhile, those who like to help should note that the eggs can be left at the following drop-off points: Poppy Room, Pamela Allison; Day to Day Lang Road, Mandi Duncan; The Little Knitting Shop; Edna Russell, Sals, Barassie Store; Keystore Deveron Road and the Railway Club or Roslyn Cottingham.

So make your way along to Fullarton Woods on April and remember to take this voucher along with you.

Once again this is great event and a truly get way to kick off the school Easter holidays.

All roads should lead to Fullarton Woods on April 1 for what should be a memorable day.

Let’s hope the weather makes it one to really remember.
