FULLARTON Woods will play host to an egg-stra special day in just over five weeks’ time.

The fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt is being staged on Easter Sunday, April 1, at 1pm and the countdown is well and truly on to what should be an excellent seasonal event.

Once again the Troon Times are supporting the Easter eggtravaganza, which is being run by the people behind the Secret Santa campaign.

We are printing this voucher, giving a family of four admission to the event.

Those participating should hand it over and they will search for coloured balls, which are being hidden in the woods and which can be exchanged for an Easter egg.

Organisers are appealing to people to donate chocolate eggs as this event can’t be run without the help of the people of Troon.

Fingers crossed that it will be a sunny Easter Sunday.

Aside from the much-anticipated Easter egg hunt, Gregor UW Baird will bring a bouncy castle and burger van so people are encouraged to make a day of it.

Organisers of the annual Easter Egg Hunt can’t thank Troon people enough for their support over the past three years and encourage them to continue donating. This event simply can’t be run without their backing.

The eggs can be dropped off at the following drop-off points: Poppy Room, Pamela Allison; Day Today, Lang Road, Mandi Duncan; The Little Knitting Shop, Edna Russell; Sals, Barassie Store; Keystore, Deveron Road and The Railway Club, Roslyn Cottingham.

So make your way to Fullarton Woods on April 1 and remember to take this voucher along with you.

Once again it promises to be a great event and a great way to kick off the school Easter holidays.
