A MAN was due to appear in court on Monday in relation to a spate of Troon break-ins.
The 37-year-old has been charged with attempting to break into Farmfoods on Portland Street, with intent to steal, on September 9. It is claimed he tried to force entry to the store through the fire exit but was unsuccessful.
It is also alleged that between November 7 and November 10 he broke into a house on Wilson Avenue and stole jewellery worth a four figure sum.
He is also charged that on November 11, he broke into a shed on Cessnock Road and stole a four figure sum of power tools.
The man has also been accused of an attempt to force entry into a house on Welbeck Crescent with intent to steal, between 9am on Wednesday, November 15 and 10am, Thursday, November 16.
It is claimed that between 12pm and 11pm on Wednesday, November 15 the 37-year-old attempted to force entry to another property on Portland Street.
