A MAN struck his partner and threw bags of her clothes onto the street, because she left the door open.
Richard Pryde of Birch Way, Troon, behaved in an aggressive manner towards the woman when he shouted and swore at her in July this year.
The 29-year-old appeared before Sheriff Carole Cunninghame at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Depute Fiscal Jacob Tomnay explained: “At 11:50am the complainer returned home and found Mr Pryde in the kitchen. She heard him say whoever left the door open is a c**t.
“The woman said she had opened the door due to the heat. Mr Pryde started shouting and swearing and called her a lazy b**ch. He told her to ‘f**k off , it’s my house, I won’t be leaving’.
“At this stage the woman was getting herself ready to leave and Pryde began shouting and swearing at her again. The complainer was outside and Pryde started throwing a bag of her clothes out of the house.
“The woman went to her friends house and called the police. The next day Pryde was traced . He told police ‘I just put her clothes out the house’.”
Pryde has been placed on a community payback order and will remain under supervision for 12 months.
