THE SCOTTISH SPCA is appealing to Ayrshire residents to donate newspapers for animals in their care.
The animal welfare charity is caring for many animals who have been rescued or born in their care, and the charity’s centre in Ayrshire has already cared for over 170 animals this year.
Centre Manager, Marion Hainey, said: “We’re struggling to keep up with the demand for newspaper at the moment.
“We hope kind-hearted locals will get behind our appeal as it would make lots of animals very happy.
“If anyone wants to donate to our centre they can do so by dropping by anytime between 10am and 4pm Wednesday to Monday.”
Newspaper can be handed into the centre which is located at Millview, No. 4 Holding, Mainholm, Ayr.
