MARR College is gearing up for this years school production.
The Marr Musical Theatre will be performing the RSC/MGM classic version of ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
There will be a live band made up of students, former students and instructors, under the musical direction of the school's music teacher, Kirsty Walker.
There will be three performance evenings running on, Wednesday 7, Thursday 8 and Friday 9, June starting at 7:30pm.
Pupils from each year have a part to play in the production.
Head Teacher, Elaine McGregor-Sloman, said: “I am excited to see my students’ hard work come to fruition.
"There has been so much going on behind the scenes for many months and all the young cast need now is an audience.
“Marr College has a wealth of talent and the young people of Troon and the surrounding districts are flourishing in Art, Drama and Music.
"Under the musical direction of Kirsty Walker, the live band will feature students – past and present – as well as music instructors from throughout South Ayrshire.
“Students from first to sixth year have also made new friendships and are a true testament to the power of team work. "
She added: "Thanks must go to all of the teaching staff involved from across the school, including Director Marianne Gunn.
“Please do get behind this production and enjoy a night at the theatre down by the sea.”
