AYRSHIRE fashion students organised a swap shop event to raise money for Ayr Action for Mental Health.
Fashion students from Ayrshire College, welcomed classmates to their Swap Shop event, giving them the chance to refresh their wardrobe by trading in their clothes and jewellery.
They successfully ran the event as part of their Essential Skills Enterprise unit and took full responsibility for the planning, organisation and running of the event.
Laurie Bradshaw, Arts and Fashion lecturer said "I am really proud of the students for the work they put in to make the day a success, and choosing to use this opportunity to help raise funds for a local charity.”
Samantha McRoberts, Level 5 Fashion student added: “We have been overwhelmed with people donating clothes for the swap, it’s been great.
"It took ages to sort out all donations into fabrics, accessories and clothes.
"It’s been a really valuable experience to be part of organising the event.”
