- For Scottish Labour, Helen Moonie was elected.
- The turnout for this ward was 55.1 per cent with 6,722 votes.
- Councillor Hugh Hunter spoke Ayr Advertiser after the votes were announced.
- He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be reelected and this is my fifth term.
- “I am commited to working for Prestwick and in particular, the people of Prestwick and the caring community that they are.”
