MCDONALD'S at Ayr racecourse is set to re-open its doors today following the major investment and digital makeover.
The restaurant will be ready for its customers to use the new beneficial digital changes on Tuesday, April 25.
To improve the speed and ease of ordering, you will have the option to use one of four self-order kiosks.
The restaurant has also been extended to include more seats and a side by side drive-thru and table service has been introduced to the restaurant, to take the stress out of finding somewhere to sit when carrying food.
Andy Gibson, the owner and franchisee, said: “We are excited to see what customers think about the changes.
"From seeing the digital features in my other restaurants, we expect to see those who used to pop in for a quick bite staying longer to use the tech we have on offer.
“Having already seen customers reacting positively to these changes in my Glasgow and Hamilton restaurants, I am excited to hear what my customers in Ayr have to say about the new features.
"Our restaurants are a great leveller and are able to suit the needs of people from any background who want to come in grab a bite to eat or drink and enjoy the atmosphere these changes have created.”
