THE POPULAR BBC programme, Flog It, is set to visit South Ayrshire for its 16th series.

The BBC One antiques programme presented by Paul Martin, will be hosted by Culzean Castle on Thursday, May 18, for the Flog It valuation day.

Members of the public are invited to visit the National Trust Scotland property, with up to three antiques or collectables they might be interested in selling.

Everyone who goes along to the valuation day will receive a free appraisal of their items – even if their antiques are not chosen for filming or to go forward for auction.

Paul Martin, presenter of Flog It, said: “I hope our visit to Culzean Castle will be well attended and you are able to join us for a free valuation.”

Gareth Clingan, operations manager at Culzean Castle, added: “With its long history and links to pirates, Culzean Castle is bound to turn up some treasure.”

The BBC will be making four editions of the show in total featuring Culzean Castle.
