STRUTHERS and Alloway Primary School celebrated Red Nose Day last Friday.
Struthers Primary School had a ‘Toe to Head Red’ day for Comic Relief and pupils took part in a range of activities including ‘Guess the Red Sweets in the Jar’ and ‘Guess the Teacher’.
While having lots of fun in the process, the school raised over £600 for the charity.
Alloway Primary School joined in the fun with both the staff and pupils coming to school in their pjyamas or red outfits.
The also had a emoji biscuit sale as well as selling homemade bath bombs.
Overall, they raised £550 for comic relief.
The money raised by both of the schools contributed to the £71.3 million that was raised for the charity on Friday, March 24.
